IP based Audio Router

IP based Audio RouterThe IP based Audio Router is an expandable Pro-Sound quality 1U IP Voice Alarm Audio Router, which for this system will be used together with the Network card. The IP based Audio Router and Network cards provide routing between 12 analogue and 2 IP inputs, and 12 analogue and 2 IP outputs. The device also includes provision for 64 internally stored DVA (digital voice announcement) messages. IP audio can be used to integrate the matrix into larger distributed systems easily connected using industry standard Ethernet. IP Audio transmission is made using PMC (Portable Media Carrier) format for compatibility with IP enabled microphones (MPS-IP). Using Digital Back Bone (DBB), up to four IP based Audio Router routers can be locally linked within a rack location to provide routing from any or all of their inputs to their outputs in a single logical 48 by 48 matrix. The VIPEDIA-12 also integrates seamlessly with amplifier mainframes to provide full system status monitoring and fault reporting as required in EN54-16.

Microphone inputs are connected via RJ45 connections using 0dBu balanced analogue audio and an RS485 serial link. To provide maximum security of operation, two audio inputs, normally assigned to Fireman’s microphones can implement router hardware bypass to ensure continued all-call microphone operation even if the matrix DSP or CPU have failed. A full range of audio processing is available within the IP based Audio Router. DSP based 24 bit / 48kHz audio functions include input dynamics processing, individually adjustable digital output delay of up to 5 seconds and parametric equalization.

Amplifier Mainframe

Amplifier MainframeThe Voice Alarm Amplifier Mainframe is EN54-16 compliant and provides the housing, control, and power supplies for up to ten ASL D Series power amplifier modules in a 2U enclosure.

Two D Series amplifier module types are available, with a maximum power rating of 500W (D500) or 150W (D150). These are lightweight transformerless amplifier modules whose output power is configurable in software from 25W up to their maximum rating. The ability to configure the output power on each module enables opimum assignment of amplifier power within the overall capacity of mainframe and hence a compact system design.

The configurable output power capability of the D500 and D150 amplifier modules enables very flexible use of the mainframe, with reduced mainframe count, less quiescent power requirement, and improved environmental performance compared with traditional amplifier designs. Example applications are:

  • Ten off 150W amplifier = 1 x mainframe and 10 x D150 amplifier module
  • Quad 500W amplifier = 1 x mainframe and 4 x D500 amplifier module
  • Mix-and-match options such as four 50W zones, two 300W zones, and two 500W zone all driven from a single mainframe, including a standby amplifier.
100 to 500 Watt Amplifier Card

100 to 500 Watt Amplifier Card100 to 500 Watt Amplifier card class D transformerless amplifiers provide 100, 70 or 50V audio output for distributed loudspeaker systems. The amplifiers are compatible with the amplifier mainframe and LSZDC dual line surveillance interface module. The maximum output power is user configurable from 25W to 150W and from 25W to 500W. Up to 10 150 and 500 amplifiers modules can be housed within a single amplifier mainframe. The configurable output power capability of the 100 to 500 Watt Amplifier card modules enables very flexible use of the mainframe, with reduced mainframe count, lower quiescent power requirement, and improved environmental performance compared with traditional amplifier designs.

Amplifier Monitoring and Line Surveillance Interface card

Amplifier Monitoring and Line Surveillance Interface CardThe amplifier interface card for use with the 100 to 500 Watt Amplifier card Transformerless Class-D Amplifiers in a Amplifier Mainframe for Voice Alarm and Public Address applications. It enables two circuits (A&B) to be fed from a single amplifier while still maintaining BS5839 Pt 8 compliance.

Remote I/O Expansion Unit

Remote I/O Expansion UnitThe BMB01 is an input and output control port (I/O) expander for ASL routers. The VIPEDIA-12 Routers are able to support the connection of up to 9 remote BMB01 units, connected by a multi-drop RS485 serial interface. Each BMB01 unit provides the following inputs and outputs to extend the control and interfacing capability of the router:

  • 12 analogue inputs
  • 12 digital (opto-isolated) inputs
  • 12 digital (open collector) outputs

These input and output control ports may be used for functions such as: Program Selection, Volume Control, Fault Input, Routing Control, Routing Reset Input, External Fault Input, and Busy Output.

IP Paging Microphone

IP Paging MicrophoneThe IPM comes with both IP connectivity and Hard wired connectivity. It comes with four different forms only PTT, PTT with 10 button, 20, 30, 40, 50 button. IPM is a powerful and flexible paging microphones which can provide live, store-and-forward, and recorded message broadcast into user selected zones, and also provide EN54 compliant emergency functions and all EN54 mandatory indicators and controls. The IPM10/20/30/40/50 units each consist of a IPM sloping desk console with a flexible gooseneck paging microphone, graphic LCD display, and silent operation ‘Touch to Talk’ touch pad PTT button, together with one or more additional zone selection and control button modules.

PA zone selection is provided by the Select buttons or by using the rotary selector and graphic LCD display. There is also a VU bar-graph which displays the microphone signal level. The MPS range can be connected directly to either one or two audio routers using analogue audio and a serial link. There is also an RJ45 Ethernet IP interface with Power over Ethernet for connecton to ASL IP PA/VA systems, and for use with VIPA enabled PC workstations. All interconnecting cabling and the microphone capsule are continuously monitored.

Ambient Noise Sensor

Ambient Noise SensorThe Ambient noise sensor IP65 rated sample and hold Ambient Noise Sensor which is designed to operate under extreme temperatures, from -40°C to +50°C. The ANS will work with the whole range of Public Address and Voice Alarm systems and with VIPA IP-based PA systems.

The purpose of an Ambient Noise Sensor (ANS) system is to adjust the level of public address announcements based on a measure of the ambient noise in the PA zone. This will maintain a set volume of public address audio above the ambient noise, in order to guarantee that the announcement is intelligible, yet at a comfortable level. Public Address or Voice Alarm system is able to support the connection of multiple ANS units. The ANS sensor detects ambient noise using its built-in microphone. The detected signal is weighted with a speech-band response for the best system performance and is then translated to a value of measured ambient noise in dBA. This value is used to proportionally adjust the Public Address or Voice Alarm system output gain for the configured output channel or channels.

Loudspeakers

All Heinrich loudspeaker are EN54 Approved and tested as per BS6259 HEINRICH all speakers support EASE, CATT, ULYSSES models for acoustic studies. This means the acoustic model can be designed to simulate the sound quality and distribution prior to installation All HEINRICH loudspeaker has undergone through testing procedure to ensure that all products compliance with LOW VOLTAGE DIRECTIVE (BS EN 60065, 2003) and EMC (BS EN 61000-6-Part 1/2/3/4).

System Installation

Our specialized Installation team are well equipped with mandatory equipments for Installation and follows all the safety standards applicable for the installation work on site under high electrical power or at heights under the supervision of their supervisor.

Cabling

We are capable to do complete cabling as per the drawings and cable layout schedule designed by our AutoCAD engineer in the station premises with 100% accuracy and without any cable cut or fault.

Speaker and Display Installation

Our Installation team are well trained and equipped with the essential safety guards along with mandatory tools to work at height and fully responsible for the successful installation of display and speakers at height without any fall or damage.

Rack Building

Our specialized team are fully trained and capable in Quality Rack building for the PA system in Metro and Railway system. After the system design and product supply we can build complete Rack equipped with PAVA system equipments with proper ventilation.

Acoustic Study

Our dedicated Acoustic engineers are responsible for complete acoustic study of the station premises using well renowned EASE software for Acoustic calculation and the data provided by the construction contractor about the NRC values of materials used on site.

All the required values for the Acoustic measurement like Direct SPL, Total SPL, RASTI will be measured and a detail simulation report of acoustic study will be submitted during the project design phase.

Commissioning Support

Our trained Engineering professionals in commissioning have a wide experience in providing onsite or remote support after installation of equipments to make it fully functional as per the contractual requirements.

Onsite SPL and STI Testing

We take full responsibility for the complete testing and to achieve required SPL and STI value on site as per the simulation done by our engineers on software with minimum required values as per the standard and contract. Our dedicated Testing team is fully equipped with the standard calibrated testing Equipment for the accurate SPL and STI testing on site.

Onshore and Offshore Training

We offer both onshore and offshore training on our designed system and product. Training will be provided in HEINRICH premises or on site to the maintenance staff.

Our training classes and syllabus designed in such a manner to provide the complete knowledge of system including basic introduction of products to installation and commissioning to the client staff for maintaining the entire system themselves.

Maintenance

Our dedicated Maintenance team can maintain the entire PAVA system throughout the life. We will be responsible for the complete maintenance and troubleshooting of the PAVA equipments, Fault rectification, repairing of damaged equipments and for the replacement of faulty equipments with spares to make the PAVA system fully available 24*7.
